Opportunity for a graduate or junior accountant to join a team focused firm offering a salary package of $55K to $65K (depending on experience).

We are a long-standing, high-performance boutique CA firm located in Balwyn offering a range of services such as tax compliance, business services and assurance. We are currently looking for an accountant with strong communication skills, attention to detail and a team player who is looking to join a professional firm with a strong belief in staff training and development in a supportive and friendly environment.
Your new role
You will be given ample guidance and training so that in no time you will be preparing financial accounts and tax returns for all entities and high net wealth individuals in various industries, preparing FBT returns, lodging BAS’, liaising with clients and other regulatory bodies. You will also be dealing with various taxation matters including but not limited to Div 7A, CGT, GST, Payroll tax. There will also be times throughout the year that you will be asked to assist the audit division in meeting their deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and general information technology skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Intention to commence/commenced CA/CPA.
- Ability to work within a team and manage delegated tasks.
